We stayed as a family of 5 in week of Aug 19. This is not your average holiday villa, so if you like relaxing in the sun and beach this ideal as you enter the attention to detail is immediately obvious and a home that is loved, it is well equipped and every need is catered for. With many outside seating areas offering stunning views in the sun or shade what ever your preference. The views of the local area are beautiful and an early morning watching the sun rise over the bay is a must and available at every angle of the Villa. The villa is Very private not over looked and secure. You can even check out parking at beach and flags for swimming safety before leaving the villa by simply looking down at the beach. Walking down to main Mojácar playa is just 5 mins however walking back is a steep climb so need a basic fitness to do safely, we chose to drive in day in heat and walk in eve when cooler. The owner was excellent and contacted us during stay to ensure all was well. Could not recommend enough as a relaxing holiday destination.
Dear Maria and family. Thank you for your review. We are happy you enjoyed your stay in Casa Redonda. We love it as much as you do ,and we like it that our guests feel home away from home in Casa Redonda. We are looking forwards to spend again a few months in Casa Redonda ,going there beginning of October. We hope to see you back in Casa Redonda again one day.
Casa Redonda is a very nice villa, though a few things could be improved. There was noise during the day from the construction site below (outside of the owners’ control, but a warning in advance would have been appreciated. One small bath towel and a hand towel each wasn’t really sufficient and they were quite rough rather than soft and fluffy - we did expect more in a villa of this quality/price. Cushions in outdoor areas and sunbed covers were all PVC - we understand this is to make them waterproof, but definitely not ideal in the heat, you just stick to them if you’re in a vest top or swimsuit in the heat. In addy, a master switch to turn off all the outside lights would be helpful. These were the only real negative points, and overall we had a good holiday
Dear Georgina Thank you for your review. The construccion side on the beach has startes last october. We understand the noise of the construccion on the beach must be disturbing sometimes for the whole area around. The PVC cushions are a must, as especially children , jump from the pool to the poolpeds , lounge area etc. We always tell people to bring there own beachtowels to put on the sunbeds. The chairs are very comfortable without the cushions as well.. We are very aware about the environment and electricity is very expensive in Spain..The washing dries on the toproof and the towels get dry when too long left in the sun. I will check with my cleaningstaff on that.

We stayed at Casa Redonda the first week in September. The villa is as described and the views are magnificent - you never tire of looking at them. There are lots of areas to sit and enjoy the views or just relax. There is a massive roof terrace for hanging out washing which is very useful. The villa is well equipped and the agents are in Mojacar if needed. The only negative thing for us was that the lighting in the kitchen isn't adequate and the kitchen seems quite dark. The owners clearly know this as there are lamps on the worktops and I gather they are gradually making improvements where needed so this may be one of them. Because the villa is high up to get the stunning views it is a steep hill back up to it if you decide to walk. If you're not that fit I wouldn't do it, even though there is a shortcut up the steps near the apartments it is still 'cardiac hill' and not for the faint hearted. However, walking down is a breeze and takes about 10 minutes so, if you want a drink, walk down and get a taxi back. Mojacar Playa itself is beautiful and once you're there all on the flat with a promenade and cycle way stretching the length of the beach which goes on for miles. Lots of bars and restaurants to go to and a bus runs the length of the playa and along to Garuccha and Vera as well as up to Mojacar Pueblo which is a beautiful whitewashed village on the hill and well worth a visit. We love Mojacar, this was our second visit and we will definitely be returning.
Dear Liz. Thank you for yourreview. Glad you enjoyed your stay in Casa Redonda as well Mojacar beach areaand Mojacar playa. We keep improving yearly Casa Redonda. The electrisity in and outside was renewed last winter. The lights in the kitchenceiling are on a dimmer. Maybe you miss that. It has lots of light when fully turned on.! We hope to see you back one day. Best wishes Johanna Bouter
The Villa was better than expected the pictures do not do it justice, very well equipped in every way, we would all like to visit it again in the near future, I would highly recommend this villa.
Dear Julie and family Thank you for your quick respond and review. We hope to see you again as our guests in Casa Redonda and feel that our home is your home away from home .Best wishes for you all. Johanna
