This 2 bedroom garden apartment is located in one of the most beautiful blocks of the exclusive gated community of La Reserva de Marbella with 24hr security. Perfect for those looking for some peace and quiet and yet only 5 minutes minutes drive to some of the best beaches in East Marbella. The apartment is completely equipped with all home comforts including television (with spanish, UK and some international channels), washing machine, dishwasher, hot/cold aircon and wifi. The Master Bedroom has a very comfortable king size double bed and the second bedroom 2 single beds. There is a possibility to have a third fold up bed in the Master Bedroom for extra charge (see notes on prices). Both bathrooms have bath with shower over, bidet and sink.
For al fresco dining and relaxation, there is a large covered terrace with dining table and sunbeds as well as a small private garden where our guests are permitted to use the charcoal barbecue grill. This terrace area looks directly over the swimming pool (which is never very busy) so parents can keep on eye on children if necessary. A car parking space is allocated in the secure underground car park and there is a lift for easy access (there are no steps at all). Available throughout the whole year for short, medium and longer term rentals. We also have two other similar apartments in the same block available for larger groups or families.
Reserva de Marbella has it's own minimarket selling basic provisions, including fresh bread, which is open the whole year round. 20 minutes walk will bring you to another supermarket, Hong Kong Chinese restaurant (highly recommended), Franks Steakhouse and bar. 5 minutes drive will bring you to a massive choice of beach restaurants (where you can eat fresh fish and seafood), indian, chinese, italian, tapas, grill - the list is endless. So lots of choice with a very short car journey.
Marbella town is only fifteen minutes drive away (why not catch the bus from the main road and save on parking time!) A well known destination of the rich and famous, Marbella Old Town and port has lots to see and do, including shopping in small boutiques and excellent tapas bars and restaurants. The weekly market takes place on a Monday morning, where you can rub shoulders with the locals.
Cabopino Port is just 3 minutes drive away and here you can choose from a variety of bars and restaurants including seafood, italian and chinese overlooking the the harbour. This area has a very famous sandy beach (part nudist) which is extremely popular during the summer months.
Elviria is 5 minutes drive away and here you will find a thriving commercial centre with more restaurants, bars, banks and supermarkets. Amazonia Aventura tree tops zipwire adventure park is here, great for the kids as well as adults. Elviria is on a long stretch of sandy beach and here you will find Nikki Beach/Don Carlos, as well as a variety of beach activities, waterskiing, jet ski, and water adventure park.
10 minutes drive will bring you to the resort of Calahonda, where you can park the car and enjoy a walk along the new boardwalk all the way to La Cala to Mijas, passing a choice of beach bars and restaurants.
Shopping: Supercor Express is open 7 days a week until at least midnight. A choice of other supermarkets are all within 5 minutes drive including Mercadona, Lidl and Supersol. If you fancy some serious shopping, La Canada in Marbella is a huge shopping mall with Zara, Mango, Adolfo Dominguez, Guess and a myriad of others as well as a large AlCampo hypermarket. There are 2 branches of the famous department store El Corte Ingles located in Puerto Banus and Fuengirola. And of course most popular designers have a store in Puerto Banus. In the other direction 20 minutes drive will bring you to Fuengirola and the Myramar shopping centre with a huge choice of well-known stores including Primark!
Alternatively, you can pick up some bargains at the popular markets up and down the coastline, including ceramics, leather goods and linen and of course locally-grown produce for an al fresco meal on your own terrace.
Golf: The closest golf club will be Cabopino which is 6 minutes drive, Santa Maria Golf Club in Elviria is 10 minutes, and just a few minutes more will bring you to Greenlife, Santa Clara, and Miraflores (to name just a few!!).
Children: Most importantly there is a safe children's pool right in front of the apartment. As the entire pool area is gated and only resident's have a key, it is extremely safe. In Elviria you will find Aventura Amazonia tree tops park which has activities for all ages from 6 to 60. On the beach in the Elviria area you will find all sorts of activities including the Aqua Arena during the summer months. Further towards Fuengirola and Benalmadena there is the Tivoli World and also Agua Park.
There is a small supermarket selling basic items and UK daily newspapers, just 5 minutes walk away. With 20 minutes walk, there is a larger supermarket selling a full range of groceries and newspapers/magazines. A car is recommended to reach other amenities, but all within 5 minutes drive. We would also be happy to recommend a car hire company during your holiday, or part of your holiday with collection locally or at the airport.
There are several golf courses nearby (Cabopino is the closest) and tennis/squash courts 5 minutes drive away either in El Rosario or Calahonda.
You can walk right along the beach from the pretty port of Cabopino all the way to Marbella and there are numerous bars and restaurants along the way.
The famous Nikki Beach Marbella at the Don Carlos Hotel is 5 minutes drive away and there is a wide selection of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area.
For children, there is lots of offer, such as an Amazonian Adventure Park in Elviria, Aquapark and Zoo in Fuengirola, Tivoli Fair/Theme Park and Sealife in Benalmadena, Funny Beach in Marbella (with go-karting, trampolines etc), to name but a few.
