Beautiful, newly renovated bright and spacious corner-townhouse situated in the center of the old town of Almunecar. Two roof terraces, the upper with spectacular views of the mountains, the town and the sea. The top floor master bedroom has sliding doors to the lower terrace facing the sunrise, ideal for early morning breakfast.
The old town plaza - Plaza de la Constitucíon - with its tapas bars and restaurants is only 100 meters from the house. Other shops, restaurants, bodegas, bakers, etc are also only a very short walk away. A bakery and a small supermarket are even closer, within 50 m, as well as the typical Spanish restaurant la Corrala.
A short walk uphill you will find the ancient roman fortress of San Miguel and the archaeological museum. The beaches of Almunecar are a 5 minutes' walk through the old town.
The view from the roof terrace is quite extraordinary for a house this close to the plaza. The view to the mountains is spectacular and there is sea view to the east and west.
The ground floor consists of an entrance hall with stairs leading up to the first floor with a bathroom and a large bedroom with two windows, one double and one single bed, a large closet and a chest of drawers.
Stairs lead further up to a spacious living room and kitchen with all facilities. There are windows on three sides, allowing a lot of light into the room. There are two sofas, a dining table, bookshelf with plenty of books and a TV with Sky Satellite, local Spanish channels and Chrome Cast for streaming from your own PC/pad/mobile phone, a DVD player and a quantity of DVDs. Free WiFi.
On the top floor you find the second bathroom and a good size bedroom with a double bed, large closet, window and sliding glass doors leading to the first roof terrace.
Stairs lead up to the upper roof terrace with an amazing 360 degrees view over the town, the mountains and to the sea. There is terrace furniture on both terraces. An outdoor shower is installed on the top terrace.
There is air condition installed in the upper bedroom. In the other bedroom and the living room we have portable air condition/cooling units .
Because of the many stairs, we do not recommend the house for disabled.
There is a double sofa bed in the living room (in addition to the beds in the bedrooms). On request.
