The pictures of this villa were what attracted us to it and in all honesty they didn't do it justice. It is a lovely place to spend a relaxing time away from the biz on holiday but is near enough the airport, the beach and some stunning little Spanish Villages (our favorite was Mijas) to enable you do a little bit of whatever you fancy. The Villa itself was very well presented and spacious inside with lovely views over the mountains from the first floor balcony. But it was the outside space which really excelled! The pool area was great along with outdoor eating/barbecue area and table tennis/badminton. The large garden at the front with some lovely fruit trees was overlooked by a nice veranda where it was a joy to sit and watch the sun set over the mountains in the evening. We were in a group of 6 and there was loads of room to have your own quite spaces around the villa and grounds. Then there is Carole, always there to help when needed or advise on trains, buses and best places eat and shop......and always with a smile on her face, a great host.

Great holiday with fantastic house, graden and view. Alot of possibilities with pool, batminton and table tennis. Both parents and children were very happy and satisfied with everything and will be back for sure next year. So much more to see in Andalusia. The owner was very nice and was quick to write me back to answer any questions and had much info about carrent, shopping and activities.

A group of 10 ladies had a brilliant 5 days enjoying this lively well equipped villa for a hen weekend ,the Poole was clean and well kept so was the areas surrounding it ,The villa was great,Carole the owner was on hand for advise but not intrusive .We had Carmen prepare paella and tapas and sangria one evening for all of us which again would greatly recommend.A car is essentially as the villa is out of town and really needed to explore the area properly ,although we did get a bus into Malaga one evening which goes from the main road at the bottom of the estate the villa is located on and got a taxi on return which cost 37 euros.we would love to return with our families .

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Ellen and the owner Carole went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed. The place was perfectly clean when we arrived and we were able to make use of the pool even in October (as well as the beautiful views of the mountains)! The rooftop balcony is a lovely way to watch the sunset and all 13 of us staying at the villa thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there. I would recommend it to everyone.
