Casa Costell is an extensive estate with extraordinarily many facilities, placed in Baix Camp Region, in Riudoms municipal term, Tarragona province. Stay surrounded by fields and still only 5 km. from the beaches of Costa Daurada, the resturants in Cambrils and Universal Studios Port Aventura amusement park.

THE HOUSE
This fantastic mansion welcome 20+8 persons distributed in 10 bedrooms. Here you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the country side, still being only 5 km. from the beach. For the active person, the big swimming pool of 12 x 6 meters with Spa-function, petanque, volleyball, table football and table tennis. Also on the property, there is a paddle tennis court, a football pitch and minigolf,

An automatic system will open us the door of the property. For a way between fruit trees and vegetables plantations we will arrive to an oasis of palm trees which will indicate us the proximity of the buildings. On the left, you will pass the tennis court and "El Xalet" (the Chalet) , where the friendly owner Marc and his family live and some meters further you enter the premises of Casa Costel".

The holiday home consists of two floors that they distribute in the following way:

1. Ground floor, Cal Masover: It is accessed for some stairs and we find four double rooms (3 double beds and 1 of two individual beds), the dining room with fire place, two complete baths and the kitchen.

2. First floor, La Casa Gran: rising for the outside staircase we enter into the house, where there are the hall and the big kitchen-dining room with fire place. From the same dining room people can access in the terrace, which has some magnificent views on the property. Also from the dining room we arrive to the two double rooms that share a full equipped bath. Following the corridor there are 4 double bedrooms (2 double beds and 2 of two individual beds) with bath incorporated into each room. One of these rooms has bath and the other ones have showers. From the upper dining room, you can enter the big terrace, where you can enjoy the view of the landscape and the swimming pool, and sense the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.

THE POOL AREA WITH OUTDOOR KITCHEN
The natural gathering place of the property is the very big, fenced pool area around the big swimming pool of 12 x 6 meters with integrated Spa and roman steps in the low end, ideal with small children. One the far side, there is a big lawn, where you can relax on the well-kept grass-carpet partly shaded by the palms, or you leave stress behind in one of the 10 sunloungers, perhaps with a drink at your side.

On the other side, the pool-house is situated. It has toilets in one end and in the other end there is an outdoor kitchen, barbecue and fridge. Along the pool-houses there is a very big, covered terrace, facing the swimming pool. A long table makes it cosy to eat all together in the breeze.

THE “CHESS-GARDEN”
Between the pool area and the parking, there is a cosy shady space under the pines, "El Resguard" ideal to read or to play the chess on a stone table that has engraved the chessboard.

ACTIVITIES
On the premises of the holiday home there is an activity zone with petanque pitch, volley-field and access to the football field. The football field is a very nice grass pitch (the owners produce “roll-grass” themselves) which can used when you want and even by night, as it has flood lights (20€ to use flood lights). Once a week, Marc and his friends play a game, so you will have the chance to see that not all Catalans play like Xavi, Pujol and Piquet!

On the property within 1 minutes walk, there is a playground with swings and slide, a minigolf course (5€/person) and the paddle-tennis course (also good for normal tennis), which can be used free of charge, when it is not booked. There are rackets and balls available. Here you can also play by night (floodlights 12€)

SURROUNDINGS
The house is situated only 5 km. from the beach and close to the amusement park Universal Studios Port Aventura. Additionally, the house is a perfect base for visits to the wine districts Penedés and Priorát, the historical city of Tarragona and even Barcelona can be reach in 1½ hour in car, or you can take the fast train from the station Tarragona Camp.
