This attractive two floor apartment is in the Castillo Mar complex and will sleep up to five people. The bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers. This leads onto the upstairs balcony, ideal for those who like to sit looking at the stars while having a nightcap. On the ground floor there is lounge/diner leading onto a patio partly covered with an archway, where you have the choice of dining in the shade or sun. The lounge area has Freeview Satellite TV/DVD and a selection of films, wireless internet access, a comfortable sofa-bed with extra bed below. There is also a dresser and shelving for storage( for those of you who prefer to unpack rather than live out of a suitecase). The kitchen has a fridge, hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and all the utensils needed for those wishing to self cater. It also has a washing machine. The ground floor also has the advantage of having a toilet. Upstairs there is a bathroom with shower over bath. Hairdryer, iron/ ironing board, sunloungers, fans and safe are supplied. The complex itself is very pretty, having gardens and a good pool area.* Due to the fact that the pool is not in use at the present time the price has been reduced from £180 to £130 per week until it has been fixed. I have no definite idea of the timescale involved. It is possible to use the pool of the Antiqua Suites hotel directly across the road.* It is ideal for those seeking a relaxing sunshine holiday. It is just a gentle five minute stroll to the golden sandy beach or to the town centre with its shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

The golden sandy beach is a few minutes walk away and lies in a horse-shoe bay which has some of the safest bathing in Europe. Walking along it will take you the harbour where you can visit an oceanarium, catch a catamaran and go swimming with dolphins or take part in all manner of water sports from windsurfing to scuba diving.
The resort centre has shops bars and restaurants to suit all pockets and tastes - everything from fish and steak restaurants to British-style pub grub, tapas bars(my favourite), Chinese, Thai, Indian, Greek, Portuguese and Mexican.
There is entertainment if you want it - everything from live music and acts to karaoke, and quizzes but there are also little quiet bars and restaurants. Remember, this is no Benidorm - no towering high-rises or dusk-to-dawn open air discos - but how Spain was 30 years ago. A perfect relaxing all-year-round sunshine holiday with entertainment for those who want it.
For sports-lovers, the islands 18 hole golf course and driving range is just a five minute taxi ride from the apartment. There is also ten pin bowling, crazy golf, tennis, cycling camel riding and quad bike hire
Caleta itself is ideal for exploring this undeveloped, undiscovered island with excellent bus services going both north and south. Better still if you hire a car - there are wild bays, deserted coves and shipwrecks all a short ride away and the roads are good, straight - and empty! There is also a water-park on the island and go-karting for those enthusiasts. The airport is only 10-15 minutes drive away(approx 10 euros in a taxi). Towels and linen are provided. Also a cleaning service if requested mid-stay.
