Altomar 1 is in the urbanization of Gran Alacant, about a 15-minute drive from Alicante airport. It is an easy drive from the airport to our house or a 20 euro taxi ride. The city of Alicante is a short drive away to the north and Santa Pola to the south. Gran Alacant has loads to offer for families or couples looking for a relaxing holiday. There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance from the property, catering for a variety of international cuisine. There are also supermarkets, bakers, chemists, banks and car rental places.

It is not essential that you have a car as Gran Alacant is serviced by a regular bus to Santa Pola and Alicante. The restaurants and shops are all within walking distance of our house and the beach is a 20 minute walk away,(although it will be uphill on the way back and may take a little longer or you could take the bus to save the walk!). Altomar 1 has an excellent private swimming pool, which is surrounded by trees and lawn making it a delightful area to relax and swim or just spend time.

If you plan on travelling further a field there are a variety of activities to choose from. Alicante boasts excellent restaurants, a lovely castle and good shopping. In Benidorm there are adventure theme parks such as Terra Mitica, water parks such as Aqualandia, Aqua Naturra, and many beaches. From Santa Pola or Alicante you can take a boat to Tabarca Island. Places such as Guadalest, Elche and Murcia are also within driving distance from Gran Alacant. Within easy reach are the numerous and beautifull golf courses of the costa Blanca, including in Alicante.


The house benefits from 3 superb outdoor areas, a front patio, a cosy balcony accessed from the main bedroom suite and a spacious rooftop sun terrace reached by internal stairway. Rental prices include all bed linen, towels, electricity and water, but please bring your own beach towels. extra bedding is supplied for use in the winter months.


Lounge/Diner - 2 sofas, satelllite TV, DVD player, CD player,radio, a table that seats 6, ceiling fan and portable heater for the winter months. There are also books to borrow and a packs of cards to use.

Bathroom 1 - There is a small bathroom located on this level.

Kitchen - A fully fitted kitchen, including fridge. freezer, microwave, toaster, hob, oven, washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Bedroom 1 - Twin beds, fitted wardrobe, balcony overlooking the front of the property, en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, basin, bidet and wc), electric radiator for the winter months.

Bedroom 2 - Double bed, fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinet. There is a fold- up baby cot located in the wardrobe for your use.

Bedroom 3 - Twin beds, fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinet. There is also a portable heater for the winter months.

Bedlinen is provided for all bedrooms and also towels, (not including beach towels). All bedrooms have ceiling fans fitted and shutters which are great at blocking out the light in early mornings.

Bathroom 2 - Contains a bath, shower, basin and bidet.

Roof terrace - a delightful large roof terrace with views over Gran Alacant and towards the mountains. There is space to relax in the sun or shade depending on your preference. Patio chairs, loungers and a barbecue are provided. Also on the terrace there are facilities to hang washing out to dry.
