The 3 storey house 180 meters above sea level comprises 3 bedrooms - one ensuite, 2 bathrooms, separate toilet, kitchen and dining/living room and an extra living room in the tower room,2 terraces and one balcony all facing south. Entry is via the first floor with two bedrooms, one with its own balcony and a bathroom. Downstairs is the main living area comprising kitchen, dining/living room, master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and separate toilet and a large partly covered terrace. The top floor has an extra living room with a sleeping sofa for two, and with its own large terrace.
The house was built in 2004 and is since spring 2011 owned by two danish couples.
The house lies on the top of La Herradura overlooking the bay,the village and the surrounding mountains and right next to the preserved headlands of Cerro Gordo.
Immediately next to the house is the access road to just a few more houses, with no passing traffic and plenty of parking space.
La Herradura,often described as the jewel of the Costa Tropical coastline, is a small authentic town where you meet more locals than tourists.
La Herradura,the nearby towns of Nerja and Almunecar and the costal area between the towns offer plenty of beaches. The coastline is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Spain
The cities of Malaga and Granada (with the spectacular Alhambra castle) lie within 1 hour by car from the villa.
In the mountains a short distance from the coast you will discover a quite extraordinary and beautiful scenery and the famous pictoresque "white villages" of Andalucia.
You can enjoy a variety of sports summer and winter. The Sierra Nevada mountains within a 1½ hours drive offer alpine skiing experiences for skiers of all abilities and within 50 minutes from the villa you can find 4 golfcourses, the nearest at Motril only 25 km. from the villa.
In the Tower room there is a sofa, which can be changed into a double bed. For this we charge extra.
We have TV with spanish channels only.
