The property is adjacent to the owners villa and has a very large L-shaped pool. The property is situated above the town of Torrox in the Andalucian countryside on a plot of 6500 sq. mtrs. The land around the villa consists of gardens and terraces while the remaining land below the villas has olive trees and vines. The property is south west facing and has magnificent views of the mountains to the right and the Mediterranean sea to the left. (On a clear cool day you can see Gibralta and the mountains of Morroco!)
Although the property is only about 6 kms from the coast (as the crow flies!) it is essential to have a car as the final 3 kms to the property is along basic campo track (mostly concreted now)....so there is no need for a 4 wheel drive.
The location is very secluded and offers a tranquil setting but with facilities to keep the most adventurous child fully occupied with a large pool and large sun terraces, 6500 sq. mtrs. of olive groves, a full hillside of walking tracks, a (delapidated) hen house......could be used as a camping den!!!...and the chance to explore the surrounding countryside in safety.
The scenic towns of Competa and Torrox are about 12 and 10 kms respectively from the property. They offer shops, restaurants, bars and a lovely ambiance whether during the day or night.
The area is perfect for walking and this area is very popular with hiking groups. There are horse riding facilities close by and three golf clubs within 45 min drive.
The two bed villa (Villa Tropicana) has a 50 sq. mtr sun terrace with retractable shade. A full complement of sun terrace furniture is provided including sun beds and matresses, table, chairs and BBQ facilities. There is ample parking for 5-6 cars or more. There is a fully fitted kitchen, washing machine, microwave oven etc. There is a dedicated Wi-Fi availabe and the villa comes with under floor heatingand a wood burning stove (creating a lovely atmosphere on a winter evening!)
There are two double bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge.
