The villa has been renovated to a high standard and is situated in the sought after location of Almadrava which offers one of the best sandy beaches in this area and is perfect for families! There is private parking with the villa, space in the garage for one car and another space off-road outside the garage if required.
A few steps lead up to the entrance level of the villa with a large patio area with large stone built in BBQ and natural stone round table which has a rotating round top and sun umbrella to offer some shade. The BBQ is conveniently positioned with ease of access to the kitchen and an outside storage area is provided for crockery, cutlery etc for outside dining.
There is a front door leading from the porch area directly into the living room, plus a second entrance leading directly into the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher. The lounge/dining room is open planned and two double doors lead out onto a front terrace with sea views.
In this main part of the villa you will find 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have double beds and lead off onto a balcony or terrace to the front, both with sea views. The third bedroom has a single bed with another single that pulls out from underneath.
The main bedroom has a fantastic en-suite with roll top bath in the bedroom and separate shower just off the bedroom. There are large glass sliding doors that lead out from the bedroom onto a lovely terrace facing the beach.
There is another separate bathroom on this floor for the other two bedrooms to share.
Another family room with it's own entrance is on the ground level and will sleep 2-4 people (double bed plus a settee/day bed for children, also with a new modern en-suite bathroom with shower. There is an air conditioning unit is this bedroom.
There is also another fridge/freezer in an adjoining room to the family room and a washing machine located off from the garage.
Steps lead up to the next level where the pool is located with outside shower and sunbathing area. The pool is gated for security for young children and has a depth of 1.60m and is approximately 3m x 7m.
More steps lead up to the roof sun terrace where you have the best sea views over Almadrava Bay.
You will need to book quickly as this area is in high demand for summer rentals!
You only have to walk a few metres along to the top of the steps leading down to Almadrava sandy cove where you will find in the summer months a beach bar serving drinks and snacks and 3 other very good restaurants directly off the beach. Santa Lucia restaurant which is also loved by the locals, normally has live music on the beach twice a week during high summer period and El Mirador also has music evenings and special events.
This is a perfect location for walkers who can either take the coastal walk from the house along the beach and round the rugged coast on a path to Canyelles Petites beach and further on to the larger town and beachs of Roses. Under 5 minutes you can walk up the mountain and into the natural park of the Cap de Creus which has stunning views and you can follow the coast round to find many tiny hidden coves.
For winter months the walking can be combined to a ski or snowboard trip with a choice of Spanish or French resorts being accessible for a day trip (by car 2 hours each way).

The nearby town of Figueres is 25km drive, it is a beautiful Catalan market town and is home to the Salvador Dali museum. Many hours can be spent taking coffee or tapas in the Rambla just watching the world go by. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
Peralada is also 25km drive and is home to Peralada Casino, Spa Resort and championship Golf Course.
For wine lovers there are many cooperatives and vineyards in the area selling very high quality local wines and cavas.
For food lovers there are many restaurants including 1, 2 and 3 Michelin star restaurants within a 60km radius. Currently the best restaurant in the World, Can Roca is close by in Girona.
Another restaurant called Compartir is located in Cadaques and we can personally recommend! It is run by two chefs who were trained at El Bulli and worked very closely with Ferran Adrià and definately worth a visit!
Roses itself is a great coastal town with a long sandy beach, many restaurants to choose from and the fishing port that sells it's fresh catches of fish daily.
Cadaques and Port Lligat, the home of Salvador Dali is only 40-50 minutes drive.
