On arriving at Neil and Sheila’s apartment we were warmly welcomed by Rachel who looks after the accommodation. She very kindly provided groceries as it was a local holiday and the shops were closed. The apartment was spotless with a quintessentially Spanish character. It is spread across three floors creating a commanding position on the top of cliffs, leading to stunning views over the sea and town. The apartment is well furnished, well equipped and comfortable. There is access to a pool area for the apartment complex where there was space to sunbathe. The town centre is a short walk across rugged clifftop terrain creating wonderful views. The town itself has a beautiful beach and range of shops, bars and restaurants. There are also places of interest including the Roman Baths and Rock which dominates the skyline in the town of Calpe. We had a lovely time, we have great memories and felt well rested by the time we returned home. All of our boxes were ticked off.

We had a lovely chilled out holiday from start to finish! The directions from the airport were spot on making the journey with a toddler really simple. We opted to have some shopping delivered so arrived to a lovely welcome and a fully stocked fridge. Again this just made the whole experience so much easier with a small person in tow! The pool is steps away from the house - it has an amazing view over the bay, it’s spotless and very safe for little ones. The beach is a short but fairly strenuous walk away - 15 minutes as an adult on your own but closer to 30 with a very independent and curious toddler. It’s definitely worth the walk, views are wonderful and the beach is just lovely. This is not a walk for a buggy so consider a sling or drive if your little one isn’t sure on their feet. We weren’t there for the night life so made full use of the self catering facilities to cook and enjoyed the beautiful roof top terrace once our son went to bed. I’d recommend the Dinosaur Park for little ones - amazing life size automated models but take food if you can the options are very limited (chicken nuggets, chips, hotdogs, onion rings or cheese sticks was all that was on offer!). The zoo just outside Benidorm was brilliant too, you could spend a whole day there and there is a water park next door. Javea is well worth a visit, the chocolate museum is a must and the beachfront is super chilled. We would recommend this property to anyone 😊

Above expectations in all areas: the kind offer of a pick up by Rachel on arrival late at night, all of Neil's helpful emails and advice documents, very comfortable and clean house, facilities all great, amazing views, wonderful pool etc. Breakfast on one of the balconies and a beautiful cliff top walk to the quiet end of the beach gave us an idyllic start to each day. We took advantage of very good local transport to visit Moraira and Xabia, also lovely places. We will definitely look forward to going back.
