I always read reviews and hope that they are representative of the reality. Read the reviews and you can't go wrong . This apartment is on the first line of the beach so fabulous views of the Ifach rock and the beach and just a short walk into Calpe old town so it really is the perfect location. There are a number of fairly decent restaurants below the apartment so easy to pop out for dinner if you don't feel like walking into town.The apartment is stylish and comfortable and very clean.The owner, Sybille, is very helpful and met us at the apartment and made sure we had everything we needed. We rented a parking space from her which is located in the Amatista apartment complex just behind the Oceanic building where this apartment is located, so you can keep your car very close to the apartment and in Calpe that is a real bonus as the parking is a bit of a nightmare. We were lucky to arrive when there was a local Festival, Moors & Christians and the parades of floats, horses and superbly attired people in the parade where fantastic. There was also a sea "battle" the next morning where the invasion of Calpe was re-enacted they even had a small galleon and smoke bombs to make it more authentic!! We really like Calpe for it's local feel with lots of Spanish residence and the lovely beaches, we would not hesitate to come here again, maybe next year?? The apartment was very clean and everything you need is there. From the balcony you have beautiful views over the beach and boulevard. And the apartment is comfortable. We only had some trouble with a leaking boiler. This cannot be foreseen, but unfortunately it happened on our second day on a Sunday. The only thing the owner could do is turn of the water supply to the apartment completely until late the next day when a new boiler was installed. But living in an apartment with no water at all is not very comfortable. You cannot use the washbasin or the shower or the toilet. The owner gave us a key of another apartment 4 doors away where we should be able to use the bathroom. But this apartment had not been cleaned and was not suitable for use. So we had to get buckets of water from this apartment 4 doors away during afternoon and night time to flush our toilet. Now we understand something unexpected can happen but is not very customer friendly to leave your customers behind in an apartment without any water. At least Sybille should have arranged that the bathroom in the other apartment was clean and suitable for use. But now we had to carry buckets of water from one apartment to the other. And with my 76 years this is not my favourite job.

Wonderful home from home with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. A very stylish apartment . A very helpful owner who also let us check out late free of charge as we had a late flight home. Calpe is a very nice resort.
