Cumbre del Sol
Cumbre del Sol is a well established and popular urbanisation situated close to the town of Benitachell in the heart of the Costa Blanca, in the province of Alicante. The urbanisation is set on a high elevation and affords magnificent views to the coast and surrounding natural areas and mountain ranges.
The complex offers excellent amenities, close to beaches and many leisure pursuits. It’s an ideal destination for family and golf holidays. There is easy access to both Valencia and Alicante airports.
Properties & Facilities
Cumbre del Sol is set apart from Benitachell, accessed via quite a steep road, so car hire is recommended. The urbanisation extends over 3.700.000m2 with several types of properties: villas, detached houses, bungalows and apartments, located within attractive green zones.
Within the urbanisation there are lots of amenities and facilities, so you don’t have to visit the town constantly to stock up on supplies. The urbanisation includes a supermarket, bank, restaurant, pharmacy, hairdressers and even an English primary school.
Benitachell
Benitachell is a picturesque village, very popular as a place to live all year round for many foreign residents. The town provides good amenities and cultural attractions for the surrounding urbanisations.
There is also a Mercadona supermarket on the road to Moraira and larger commercial centres in Moraira itself.
Local beaches
The nearest beach to Cumbre del Sol is Morach, or Moraig beach, it’s a small beach, with coarse sand and pebbles, but with beautiful clean and high quality water, ideal for swimming, diving and scuba diving. The whole coastline is limestone, where over the years, the sea has carved out caves and formations, along the beach you find the Cova del Arcs (Cave of Arches), the start of the Moraig Underwater Route.
De los Tiestos Cove is a small cove; hidden away and accessed via a small footpath, here you find beautiful calm seas and a relaxing hideaway.
Places to visit
Places to visit include the picturesque town of Denia, the beachside towns of Javea, Moraira and Calpe.
Terra Mitica is less than 30 minutes away, and is a fantastic day out for all the family. Also in visiting distance are Aqualandia, Terra Natura, Aqua Natura and Mundomar.
There are also horse riding at the local stables, go karting facilities and tennis courts close by.
You can head to Benidorm for a show and loads of fun and ambience. For the more independently minded there are many miles of country roads to explore inland, dotted with little villages and historic towns.
Golf
There are many fine challenging golf courses in the area. Try the Seve Ballesteros designed championship course at Oliva or sample the delights of the course in Javea. In fact there is a great choice of courses within one hours drive of Benitachell.

The local region enjoys a privileged location and an excellent mild climate, with an average year round temperature of 18-20° C
